John Gonzales A Carpinteria California native, John has spent the majority of his life pursuing a way to promote sustainability and living/surfing close to home. Two Master's degree's and 10+ years living around the world later, he finally found a way. It just took 8 years of planning, fundraising, and other fun stuff to get the organic brewery open. As Chief Instigator, his main role is to make stuff happen. About Leashless Brewery We are a certified organic brewery rooted in environmentally-conscious and sustainably-minded business practices. We source our ingredients from organic farms who implement agricultural practices that improve the health of the soils, conserve water, improve water quality, and conserve biodiversity. All of our ingredients are free of GMOs, inorganic fertilizers, and pesticides. We give our brewery waste to local farmers who use it to grow healthy plants, raise healthy livestock, and make organic fertilizer.
