Informative, Funny, Enjoyable Ham Radio Podcast
For the average listener, or new Ham, it is easy to get lost in the jargon and find yourself wishing you had a nerd-to-normal dictionary to follow along. Not so with this upbeat and informative podcast. Josh often has his wife on adding the perspective of the non-Ham, and asking exceptionally good questions. A recent show discussing the archetypes of Ham Radio was especially good. Josh understands the material at a very high level (he is an Extra Class radio operator) and has the unique ability to present the information in an approachable way. Approachable doesn’t mean “dumbing it down.” It means using story, analogy, and sometimes just a relation of his own adventures to explain how things work, why they work, what to do, and what not to do. I’m an Extra class operator and I’ve been a Ham since 2012. But I learn new things every time I listen to these podcasts, and I find the interaction between Josh and his wife to be very informative. If you spend time in the car or need a way to fill unproductive time, this is an exceptional resource that you simply must subscribe to. AD0DQ

It is amazing, I am studying for my technician license while listening to the podcast. Some questions that Leah had on her practice test, Josh had explained the answers and it helped me correctly answer the same questions. Thank you both for taking the time to do these podcasts.
