Smart fun for Hammerheads
The hosts are charming, knowledgeable, articulate, have fun chemistry, and are clearly having a good time. They also have critical discernment that allows them to have intelligent discussions instead of just fan gushing (though there’s some of that too - when Peter Cushing rolls up his sleeves, Liz gets the vapors). Plus there’s an opinionated female co-host and a *little* intersectional feminist critique, both of which make fragile men sputter, so that’s always a plus. One of those podcasts that I put on to get a lift during a drab or stressful day, and it’s inspired me to dig back into the Hammer catalog.

More reviews of Hammer House of Podcast
I love Hammer horror movies, as do these people. It's a shame that some of the dry delivery works against it, as does the list of names at the start of each episode. I get it, some people donate money, good for them.Read full review »

The best of the classic horror podcasts. Well produced, informative and made with such love for its subject. If you have any interest in classic British horror, you need to listen to this.
