Elissa Sussman is also the author of contemporary and fantastical stories for teens and adults. Her debut adult novel, FUNNY YOU SHOULD ASK, was published in Spring 2022 from Delacorte and her YA contemporary, DRAWN THAT WAY, will be released on September 28th, 2021 by Simon and Schuster for Young Readers. Her YA fairy tales, STRAY and BURN are available from HarperCollins.In a previous life, Elissa managed animators and organized spreadsheets at some of the best animation studios in the world, including Nickelodeon, Disney, Dreamworks, and Sony Imageworks. You can see her name in the credits of THE CROODS, HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA, THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG and TANGLED.She received her BA from Sarah Lawrence College and her MFA from Pacific University. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their two dogs, Basil and Mozzarella.
