“It’s frustrating that there isn’t more discussion about this show because it’s so good. That’s why it’s extra frustrating that this show isn’t put together better. The hosts keep using the word “bold” to describe the madams of the brothels when the word is “bawd.” One host even mentions that someone corrected them, but then keeps using the wrong word. Another one is they keep calling one character “Marcus” when his name isn’t Marcus, he’s the Marquis of Blayne - it’s a title, and it’s listed in the credits at the end of every episode. It’s very distracting and annoying. In the most recent episode I listened to, one of the hosts got the name of the actress wrong, and blamed her character’s death on the writers when a 5 min google search will tell you that JBF quit the show herself to pursue new opportunities. It would just be nice if the hosts would do more thorough research before they start, especially for a show that claims to be “the ESPN of tv.””
