“I’m not opposed to ads. They are important and they have their purpose. However, placing ads mid-show (for sub-4mins) and mid-sentence shows that the managers of the podcast just shut their eyes and randomly place these ads just anywhere. It’s almost sacrilegious to the legacy of the likes of Paul Harvey to have someone just mindlessly chop something up into bits and pieces without a single thought.
Show that you care about your podcast and do some actual editing. Show care. Show your professionalism. Show pride in your work. I’m sure that humans do not just wake up in the morning and say “how poorly could I do my work today?””
