“I have recently found this podcast and am enjoying catching up on the back catalogue. It is well produced and narrated. However, I find the sound effects extremely annoying and quite jarring - they are completely unnecessary and in my view, spoil the episodes e.g episode 50 has repeated dog barks, a creaking door and a woman’s voice - all within a few minutes. Several podcasters now provide alternative versions of episodes that are free of sound effects and background music (which other listeners clearly have problems with). Please consider providing an alternative version.”
