“It’s like the narrator has always known how to read but has been given a book for the first time. I don’t expect MR James but all the stories I heard were very obviously made up and not very good. The unwelcome music and sound effects complete the distinctly average picture. There are a lot of these podcasts, give it a go but it’s not for me.”
