“I have been listening to Hawks and Jacobs for over 20 years. They mostly focus on football but will also cover other sports I’m interested in like cricket rugby golf boxing and darts whilst also picking up the strange sports like wife carrying that you didn’t even know existed before! Paul and Andy have a really good chemistry. I like Andy’s curmudgeonly ways and when you hear him eviscerate his beloved Chelsea because they lost the match really makes me laugh. Paul is far more levelheaded but they are just fans at the end of the day just like you and me, obviously with Andy getting older there’s a likelihood of retirement being on the agenda sooner than I would like, so I try not to ever miss an episode which is where this podcast comes in. Perfect for binge listening on long journeys.”
