“I am sure this will be an unpopular opinion, but I’m not loving this podcast. Perhaps it will evolve - I’m going off of the two episodes I’ve heard. I am a HUGE Succession fan and wanted to love this. Roger’s enthusiasm is encouraging, but it’s a bit over the top. I have no context for who he is or what his relationship to the show is. “Network sanctioned” podcasts tend to be a bit over-written and highly edited; more puffery than subjective discussion. So far, it’s very high-brow and interesting, but it’s very dense. Roger clearly knows how to craft a sentence. That said, I don’t think this is something I’ll rush to listen because it’s too verbose which doesn’t make it as free-flowing or fun.”
