“If you scan the reviews of this podcast, you find the host is repeatedly being characterized as “insufferable”. I think that descriptor applies perfectly. I’m not sure why HBO decided to replace the original host - who was funny, intelligent, engaging and knowledgeable about the show with this unprepared blow-hard who doesn’t ask good questions or let her guests talk!?! An incredible show that deserves a much better podcast to accompany it.”
