It is wonderful to be back with you, our listeners, and two new guests on Healing Your Life in this new year!
We welcomed Julie, who is a loyal listener and a previous guest. Julie is creatively inspired to share her ideas and life with people through social media. Her challenge is to bring her best ideas to fruition. Like so many of us, she lets life get in her way. Dr. Chris points out what she already knows; we can find numerous excuses not to do what we feel we should. Julie has committed to scheduling time daily to write and blog. She will share her experience after Week One with her new discipline.
Bob, another faithful follower, joined us for the first time. Bob has built a lifetime on the habit of comparing his life to others and feeling inadequate. He sees this as a pattern developed in childhood that he is unable, as yet, to break. Dr. Chris shared some ideas for changing this old established pattern. What does Bob enjoy doing? What makes him feel good about himself? Whatever the answers, continuing to do the things that make you feel good and proud, will eventually change how you see yourself. Just as a daily spiritual practice will enrich the quality of Bob's life, building self-esteem will lead to self-love and appreciation. Bob has forgotten the truth about himself. Dr. Chris is here to remind him!
