In the middle of the empty quarter, Mark and the team navigate their way to the site where Philby had hoped to find the ‘Lost city of Ubar’, instead he found one of the best-preserved sites of a meteor impact in the world. Mark describes the massive meteor’s impact, so fast and powerful, it turned the desert sand to liquid.
