Enjoyable
Lovely host, excellent audio, interesting story. As a newlywed in 1998 I moved with my military husband to the deep American south. A kind older woman I worked with was would often speak to me about the importance of God in a marriage, especially a new one. As our friendship grew she would often lay her hands on my head at the end of my shift and ask the lord to watch over my husband and I. She invited me to her church several times, but I always politely declined. Not wanting to give up on my, she gave me a VHS video to watch at home in the hopes it would inspire me. The only thing I remember about the video was there was a woman who would shed gold. It flaked right off of her. My husband and I were astounded that this woman believed wholeheartedly in the woman of gold. And while she was disappointed I didn’t share her amazement at how the lord worked such a miracle, so never pressured me further. All this to say, I never knew the backstory to what I watched on the videotape. Thank you for enlightening me. Well done.

I really appreciate your heart for the goodness in people, and your ability to communicate the truth without putting all Christians in...Read full review »

I am so thankful for this. It's brilliant, compelling, enlightening and even heartbreaking. I am a mirror image of the host. I am from a strong 3rd generation atheist tradition and unlike my relatives, I have spent so much of my life seeking spiritual meaning. I have felt like a 'blank...Read full review »
