Remarkably well done
I highly recommend this podcast. It is very well done. She weaves history with scientific research and personal experiences of herself & others. It may be especially valuable for those who were part of charismatic evangelical church circles & revivals like Toronto or the Brownsville or Bethel Revivals and perhaps call themselves exvangelical or have doubts about what happened. It’s much more than just a story about Toronto, and I think that it might be wise for the description to be changed to reach a larger audience. While it focuses on the Toronto Revival it’s much more of an exploration of revivals and supernatural experiences. It’s obvious the speaker may be exvangelical herself but she leaves a lot of room for people to make their own decisions.

Incredible storytelling, great research, and the use of first hand accounts as much as possible make this a not only informative opinion based podcast, but highly entertaining and engaging one as well. Kudos to Tara Jean Stevens! Can’t wait for what’s next from you!

I appreciate the host’s heart - she asks great questions and builds relationships with the people she’s interviewing to give a very insightful, nuanced look at, in this season, Bethel Church in Redding. I learned so much that added to my understanding. Highly recommend.
