Great but gets off topic too much
I really wanted to score this a five stars, it’s obvious you guys love literature and I have found myself LOL’ing out loud along with you guys BUT.... you spend too much time discussing NON book topics. Most podcast will vamp a little in the beginning, no biggie. However, you guys can spend upwards of 15-18 minutes just shooting the breeze in the beginning plus the extra 5-8 minutes on “lady love” at the end (which typically don’t have to do with books). Add in all that time (plus the random stories along the way) AND you split books up into 2 parts now... it’s just frustrating as a listener to have to skip over so much wasted time on NON book related talk just to get to the end and have you guys say that you ran out of time. Splitting the books up in 2 parts often take me out of the story. I’m sure some people enjoy the extra banter, I’m assuming that’s why you keep so much of it in but it’s just not why I signed up for a book podcast. It won’t stop me from listening at this point but I just can’t rate a podcast as Five Stars when I have to skip over a good 30 minutes of it. I anticipate the next book.

My podcast has 2 female hosts, one of which (me) loves very niche romance (basically Jane Austen and ALL associated fanfiction) while...Read full review »

I listened to episode 12 on my commute once just to see what it was about, and now I’m a subscriber and am working my way through all the episodes! Mel and Erin are funny, sassy and my BFFs in a not-creepy we’ve never even spoke way. I love them and will recommend this podcast to anyone who loves...Read full review »
