“This is a fantastic podcast for all board and card gamers, especially those who enjoy "Meat" - as in heavy, weighty, crunchy games. If you love Love Letter, or roll with Dungeon Roll, then you may want to look elsewhere. But, if you like games that last more than 15 minutes, then you will have a hard time finding a better podcast than Heavy Cardboard.
I don't personally enjoy "Heavy" games, but love this podcast. The guys have a great style and I enjoy the "what are you hunting for?" segment, but they seriously need a new name for their "side" reviews. Heavy Cardboard is one of the best podcasts I listen to and I can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be entertained and learn more about interesting board games!”
