“The only knowledge I have of this case is from this
Stuff NZ podcast, Heavy Metal. It isn’t bad, nor does it quite manage to hit the bar one would expect from Stuff. Three brief episodes felt about right, but I also felt a bit off about the perception of the case and those involved as a murder mystery or something rather than actual human beings who had suffered a great deal. Deffo lack the humanising element. Not a terribly told story though. Easy listen. Has a campfire vibe about it. The victim & his loved ones probably deserved something a bit better though.”
