You have watched endless episodes of CSI and other police procedural TV programs, but what’s it really like to be a professional crime scene investigator? Find out as you and your students help solve a burglary as you ask questions of and interact with St. Louis County Police detectives and crime scene investigators. Detectives and crime scene investigators will demonstrate examples of the science behind the investigative process as evidence is analyzed and witnesses are questioned. Students will participate in the process as they make judgments about the evidence presented and individuals questioned. By the end of the program, we’ll have solved the crime and learned new details about the science behind a criminal investigation.
