“This podcast is SO informative! Molly does a great job of breaking down Heidi’s life and how she became the infamous Hollywood madam. Also she talks a lot about sex work in this country and how it should be decriminalized. Overall I really recommend this podcasts that also has so many little fascinating details from Hollywood in the eighties. A very well researched show along with voice actors really bringing some fun flavor to the show!
PS everyone seems to hate the narrator’s voice which very much appears to be based in misogyny, even if they don’t actively realize it. Her voice is fine! Plus calling her a valley girl - she literally says she is from the valley pretty early on. I don’t find her voice distracting at all. The information in the show is much more interesting.”
