“So this is a very interesting story, I remember when it was all happening in the news. This could’ve been a fantastic podcast. Unfortunately, it’s the most poorly produced podcast I’ve ever listened to, and I’ve listened to hundreds. The woman who narrates the story is absolutely the worst!!! She has the most annoying, valley girl wanna be voice, combined with the weirdest sounding cadence/inflection I’ve ever heard, it’s absolute torture.
On top of that, there are random, obscure soundbites peppered throughout every episode. Also terrible, is the godawful music, chime-y noises in the background. I really don’t know if I’ll be able to finish it, it’s that bad. The narrator’s voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. It’s really too bad this story wasn’t done by a great, professional company like Wondery.”

“So much potential but the host’s voice is so sing-songy and it’s painfully obvious she is reading from a script. Not all creators need to be hosts. Hoping she improves as podcast goes on.”
