“Molly Lambert came to my attention when she started writing for Grantland and I especially liked her work on the “Girls in Hoodies” pod where her stoner/SoCal/vocal fry and deadpan bon mots would elicit many LOLs. I am 3 episodes into “Heidiworld” and it is not only really well organized and exhaustively researched, but the use of a whose who of her media friends as voice actors is a great touch, and she introduced me to existence of Annie Hamilton which, who knows, maybe this pod will be a piece of “Annieworld” which Molly can make in 2032, or maybe 2025 since the internet has flattened time. Anyway, this just seems like the perfect marriage of creator and story, Molly loves LA, she loves sleaze, she stumps for sex workers, it’s all in this particular gazpacho. Eat it up, just like one of Heidi’s girls.”
