Edmund and Shiew Li were both working in the corporate world, Edmund was an investment banker while Shiew Li was an actuary. They noticed a gap in the market and decided to turn their passion for food into a business idea in 2013, which is now known as Inside Scoop. Inside Scoop is well-known for their ice creams that incorporate distinctly Malaysian flavors such as cempedak, durian, and teh tarik. Their other popular offerings are buttermilk waffles and cakes.
