I feel seen!
I love this podcast!! I’m a Black woman who found the outdoors in my late 20’s and absolutely fell in love. I never thought outside was accessible to me. I love how the host and her guests acknowledge the racism in the room but also teaches us new things about the parks. It’s like “yes, this establishment was trash but enjoy you some cryptobiotic soil crusts (from afar)!!”

I was interested in hearing about the national parks from a POC’s perspective but she lost me when she started talking about her love of astrology. It just seemed that the podcast lost focus along the way.

I get that Misha is standing in for us as she experiences the wonder of the Parks. But please. She LOVES astrology and curses with joy at scorpions. I’d prefer a more mature podcaster.
