I had high hopes!
This podcast depicts non-urban America in much the same light as the movie “Deliverance.” The narrator seems to have a viewpoint of anything outside of LA is a dangerous place for a “brown” person. Rural America is filled with backwards white people who hate minorities. It hurts my heart! As a proud rural American, I welcome all people of color to explore our great nation without having to have “a white guy” around because he will make things easier. This podcast highlights some great stories about our National Parks, but the narrator’s narrow view of American culture outside of urban areas really is mind blowing. Rural America must be filled with white people that hate all people of color. That’s is the vibe I get from this narrator. This is simply not true. I simply cannot listen anymore.

Love hearing about more of the full story of our National Parks and the history of the outdoor spaces in America.

Just listened to first episode. A little history to go with the national park info. You have a really interesting perspective and it makes for a great listen. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Very disappointed in this podcast. The host lost me with her cussing and yelps of seeing a scorpion in the desert. I was hoping for more mature and knowledgeable host.
