“Hi Mike & Laurens,
Your first episode was so amazing. The second episode was eh and this third episode was a complete bust. Laurens, sometimes you come off as pretentious with some of your comments. Not all of us can afford private massage therapists, extensive bloodwork, delivered meals, an infinity pool etc. I am not meaning to be hurtful by mentioning that, because you may not realize you come off that way. Especially when people are losing their jobs, we don’t want to hear about how much money you have.
I think you should take some of your YouTube ideas and bring them to the podcast. We totally want to hear Mike’s prison stories, behind the scenes of the jersey shore, what you are really thinking when filming, how you are adjusting to life post-prison, etc. Laurens, I loved when I watched a YouTube what makeup products you use. Also- talking about your miscarriage, how you felt when mike came home, how you are both adjusting, etc. Bring some real life topics to your podcast instead of these ones that are kinda frilly and not real life.
It seems like one of the biggest things you are missing is a platform/format. Like your jersey shore family member’s podcast, they follow a certain format. I feel like once you become more authentic, get rid of the frilly topics and be more yourselves, the podcast will come together.
