Quinn is a Durango Colorado native and one of the brightest young talents on the bike coming out of the U.S. He's also one of the youngest riders in the world tour after skipping the U23 catagory and going straight from junior to the world tour. Before jumping on the road bike Quinn was a mountain biker and Skimo racer. He may be the only junior athlete to be on the podium at the world championships for both road cycling and skimo.

Mike Creed is widely recognized as one of the best directors in the sport and while he's been offered jobs in the world tour, he's chosen to work with the best U23 riders in the U.S on the Aevolo U23 team. Mike started racing super young and rose to the very top of the sport where he was teammates with Lance Armstrong and George Hincapie at U.S Postal. Feeling the pressure to perform Mike shares stories you wouldn't believe about how he pushed it too far and what he was willing to do to make...

At one time one of the greatest cyclists in the world. Before that he lived like a hobo, dropped out of highschool to climb mountains and explore. From Alaska down to Mexico on a thrift shop bike and self welded up trailer to tow his gear and dog named "Bear". Sveino can only be reffered to as a legend even though he's often described as the Chuck Norris of cycling. Google his name and you'll read stories of him fighting off a wolf that attacked his dog in the middle of the night with a...

In 2013 I tested positive for a banned substance after winning the biggest race of my life. To this day I remain the only athlete in the history of anti doping to be found completely innocent and not recieve a ban or even a repremand or first strike. I was found to "bare no fault" and while there was a perfect storm of events that caused this positive test result, I also caught some lucky breaks which allowed me to be the only athlete able to prove a negative and prove I had done nothing...

If I had to describe Felix without using the word Bud, it would be best roommate. No stress, always easy to live with and unbelievably considerate. In his early 20's Felix is chasing the pro cycling dream but has also been running his own coffee roasting business for several years. Felix's parents are the founders and still owners of Rocket Espresso, the Ferrari of the coffee world so we get into coffee quite a bit. Beyond that there's plenty of banter between two buds about cars and other...

Will and I are the same age and first met by sharing podiums as junior cyclists when he was racing for team USA and I was on team Canada. Sepp's been a bud since he made the jump to the road from mountain biking and XC skiing. I've raced against Sepp many times and he's now worked his way to the very top of the sport. Sepp's now one of the best climbers in the world and races on one of the best road cycling teams in the world but has not changed in the slightest from the laid back proper bud that just enjoys riding his bike regardless of if its slicks or knobby's.

Ian is one of the greatest cyclists the USA has produced. He's raced for the New York Yankees of pro cycling and spent years at the very top. Ian suffered a head injury in 2019 that ended his season. Ian decided to walk away from pro racing due to this injury and now has taken up gravel cycling and is an employee at Wahoo. Ian also has his own podcast, "Breakfast with Bos" which I highly recommend. Ian's got some great insight, is a fantastic mentor at such a young age and is such a pleasure...

Jamie's a Canadian from Calgary who worked his butt off to chase the pro cycling dream. He made it to Europe and raced professionally there but with the option to do another year he decided the life wasn't for him and walked away from pro cycling to return to Squamish, BC where we both call home. Now, when it's pouring rain, 2 degrees out and we're both looking out the window, I'm dreading a 6 hour day training on the bike, soaked and freezing in the valley while Jamie is licking his chops,...

Sean is a local hitter in a town overflowing with Olympians, world champions and some of the best outdoor recreation and action sports athletes on the planet. If RedBull would film you doing it, you can probably do it in Squamish. Sean grew up in Squamish and shares some fun stories on his road to racing on the Norco Factory team as well as from the times he's been able to compete with the Maple leaf on his chest. I hope you enjoy Sean.

An epic Bike trip through the Coast Mountains of British Columbia. We started this trip by breaking down our bikes and stuffing them in the back of a 60's 3 seater Cessna plane. We took off from Squamish at Sunrise and flew over the Coast mountains to Cache Creek where we would start the 285km ride back home. Starting in Cache Creek, we then road through Lilloet, Pemberton, Whistler then arrived in Squamish. An epic day where nothing went right and still remains one of my favourite days on...

I'm your host Jack Burke and this and the following episode are what got me to start the "Hey Buddy" podcast. My bud Justin interviewed me before and after my first year racing as a professional road cyclist in Europe and from those conversations I decided to start my own podcast since some of my good buds are also some of the most incredible athletes and performers in the world and have incredible stories yet to be told. I'm not a journalist, I'm a professional road cyclist who loves to be...
