Talent and Insight
Original and Insightfully sardonic at times, almost like a mini warblers scatting riffs of experience, techniques, and misadventure - “Orange Man” and “Yellow Guy” (a call back to their White Balance video) have a relationship of friendship and make the listener feel like he’s meeting with equals rather than instructors. A plutocracy of profound producers sitting ‘round and having a dialogue with their listeners about matters of practicality as opposed to those bombastic pontifications and promulgated panegyrics of theory, hypothesis and hyperbole. Griffin’s dulcet tones prove him to be, at times, a soothing soothsayer providing a providence and respite for any filmmaker over budget and out of time.
