Truth is truth
Lauren, what an incredible step of honesty you took to share with us of your being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in order to attempt answering the questions surrounding both Chad and Lori and in a neutral journalist way. I too am a member and I think most of us would have a difficult time covering all the bases you attempted, while being live and to not experience some stammering, stage fright, brain fog, or similar lapse of memory or needful detail. I truly hope you helped others see the truth behind the Vallow Daybell’s horrible story of absurd blasphemies. It seems so obvious this was to fulfill their hunger for self glory. One they thought they could gain at the elimination and sacrifice of others lives, even her children. The absurdity of Lori and Chad’s proclaimed beliefs, don’t balance with many details in the Holy Scriptures, like the numerous times we are warned about false prophets. Or The Lord’s instructions that his church will be preserved thru the keys of His priesthood held together by his apostles, and the prophet at their head. So how could Lori andChad suddenly head their church and achieve such mighty details without the 12 Apostles and the priesthood keys? As you pointed out, our temple visits are considered Devine work we attend and participate in as group programs. We don’t wander the temple halls and rooms Willy-nilly alone or without temple worker. And marriages or sealing are arranged and overseen by temple officiators and confirmed by two witnesses. So then, why would Chad and Lori believe they needed to be married again, since they stated they had been married to each other before? Certainly if Chad and Lori are to hold the sacred names and callings they proclaimed, wouldn’t these things be foretold in the scriptures too, like in the Old Testament it foretold of many people and positions even the coming of the Messiah, Christ Our Lord and Savior. There is no mention in any Christian scriptures to my knowledge, regarding “zombies or slugs”. Nor the time when there would be the grading of God’s children’s worthiness by numbers and of light or dark. In fact, quite to the contrary, and such would even be against the Great Plan of Salvation that took place in heaven long before Father Adam and Mother Eve came to earth. It would betray and make void the greatest gift to mankind, that coming from The First Born, even Jesus Christ. For The Lord, Our beloved Savior, went into Gethsemane and bled from every pour, and took upon himself all the sins, pains, and woes of the world. Then later on a cross in Calvary was hung and there He died. He died for us, he bought our salvation, so we can repent and receive God’s forgiveness. Then Christ was resurrected, fulfilling His promises that like Him we to will live again. So I ask? If Lori and Chad are to chose who they can usher in as apart of the 144,000, that they can decided our salvation, by determining our worthiness, and if we are dark or light? Then how does the scripture saying, “ do not judge another, lest we too be judged. “ work. The Vallow Daybell actions of grading the children of God this way would nullify the great price paid by Our Savior, and the ability he gave us to seek repentance of our wrong doings. I do not see Chad and Lori’s Seven Missions anywhere in the Great Plan of Salvation. What we see however, are false prophets which they are, and are foretold in the Holy Scriptures. Gigi
