“I’ve looked at Hindi books, tried immersion without knowing much vocabulary, listened to Hindi videos on YouTube/hindipod101 - none of them have really gotten anywhere in learning to speak Hindi. This podcast is amazing - Each glossary introduces a word into a sentence, repeats that word/sentence and shows you the sentence structure through example. You also learn grammar by hearing the way the speaker changes words for plurals - a lot easier than trying to learn it from a book! The sentence structure is easily replicable - so as you learn new words, you can simply switch them out with the sentences you already know. The repetition also helps you to remember things - it’s not just say one word and move onto the next (which imo is the best thing about this). Hindi has masculine and feminine words too, and from episode one you start to understand how that affects the rest of the sentence without knowing the rules directly. Fantastic!”
