“This used to be my favorite podcast for years. Then one year she did away with the respectful way she used to reference universal energy and started just saying God. It changed the entire tone of the podcast for me and started make it unlistenable. If it was laziness of not wanting to address everyone then that is as lazy as any identity slur instead of taking the time to say something sensitive and inclusive. This took the vibe from spiritual to religious. The earlier episodes were truly about witchcraft and the law of attraction and they are super awesome. Gave it another shot a few months ago to see if she had laid off the god stuff and now quite a bit is about story books. I dont read much fiction, mostly self help, which is what this used to be. Also she doesn’t release as much as she used to anyway, seems to focus a lot on patreon. Which I get, but it’s nice when that’s extra content and the main show doesn’t get cut back. Loved Joanna and would be great if this show ever went back to its roots a bit. Will keep checking in every few months.”
