Bit Tory
Really liked the first couple of series that focused on specific cases - Naomi is clearly compassionate to victims and thorough in her investigations. But now I’m listening to all the prison episodes and she’s coming across well Tory. Study after study has shown that treating prisoners like they’re not human leads to increased recidivism, not rehabilitation. She’s even trotting out the tired Daily Mail trope ‘It’S lIkE a ReTrEaT’. Sure, there have to be rules and limits and our prison systems are overwhelmed and understaffed so regulations can be abused or not properly enforced - that is the problem, not prisoners being given access to a gym. Just very un-nuanced thinking.

Couldn’t stop listening. Well researched and mostly stories I have never heard about before. The presenter has a real knack for story telling and displays compassion throughout. My fav podcast by far.
