Today I am going to talk about how Simeon and Anna met baby Jesus , a story that you can find in the Book of Luke, chapter 2 verse 25 to verse 38. Este hombre, justo y piadoso, esperaba la consolación de Israel; y el Espíritu Santo estaba sobre él. Y le había sido revelado por el Espíritu Santo que no vería la muerte antes que viera al Ungido del Señor. Movido por el Espíritu, vino al Templo. Cuando los padres del niño Jesús lo trajeron al Templo para hacer por él conforme al rito de la Ley, él lo tomó en sus brazos y bendijo a Dios… Estaba allí también Ana, profetisa. Profetisa según J. McArthur se refiere a una mujer que proclamaba la palabra de Dios. Era maestra del Antiguo Testamento y no una fuente de revelación nueva.
