“I found this podcast because I’m a fan of the conspirators podcast. The stories here sounded fascinating. The author has a real talent, and the production is great. Which makes me sad that after listening to about half the episodes, I realized I couldn’t take any more. The podcast has a reoccurring problem of going off into weird lefty fantasyland or throwing out odd insults at unnecessary times in stories that have nothing to do with politics.
I get that some people have strong feelings on politics, but not everything has to be about hating Trump or leftist virtue signaling.
The first episode was literally a warning not to vote for Trump because we’d have a nuclear war.
I listened because there were some interesting stories and I wanted to learn something. I don’t need sermons or one off insults, particularly given that since the start of the podcast, the opposite of all the gloom and doom predictions has happened.
If the author absolutely has to focus on politics, maybe he should just do a political podcast. Just don’t do the bait and switch.”
