Terribly Uninterested in Fact
This show is willing to sacrifice the mystery and nuance of history in order to tell a watered down but coherent story. They state speculation and hypothesis as fact, and assign weirdly specific personalities to the various characters in their stories that come off as black and white conflicts between Luke Skywalker and the Emperor. The Voice acting is cringe-worthy and music is jarring. These elements are present throughout the show, but, at the time of writing, the Cleopatra episode most epitomizes everything that's wrong with this show.

More reviews of Historical Figures
The aural quality of this show is off the charts, with great voice talent and sound effects. The effort put into this series shows right away. This will be a fun show to follow into the future. Almost like mini-biopics. Great historical and storytelling value here.

The scripted dialogue and the voices are horrible, including the narrators. I get what they are trying to do but it doesn't work.Read full review »
