Why the re-enactments?
Good idea for a podcast interesting topics, but the re-enactments are just awkward and painful to hear. Similarly the scripted conversation is annoying, either have a candid conversation like josh & chuck or have one person read a script like case files.

The voice actors are great! I love what they bring to this podcast. They are a great break between the narration of the hosts. It keeps the pace and I find it entertaining.

This show is willing to sacrifice the mystery and nuance of history in order to tell a watered down but coherent story. Making history accessible to everyone is important: I get that. And not everyone can be "Stuff You Missed in History", but this is stupid.
