“I’m really enjoying this Podcast. A history of the bible which looks at the wider historical and cultural context within which the books that make up the bible(s) were written. As well as relaying the stories told the author brings in to play the latest academic thinking on the subject. As something who has never read the Bible it’s fascinating to see how the various well known books and stories fit together. I was shocked by how many inaccuracies and contradictions there are in the Old Testament!”
