Good podcast, some false corset information
I really enjoy this podcast, but in one of the episodes (about the dumb but hyper successful 18th century merchant) the discussion of corsetry came up, and was then incorrectly described. Corsets don’t “crush your ribcage” and not all are meant to be push up bras. The era in question was one where stays (the earlier counterpart of corsets) were what was used. Just google a picture of them and you’ll se the different between a corset. They were meant to be shaping and supportive, while being attainable by all classes. Later decades corsets were meant to produce different silhouettes. If you are going to talk about corsets, please describe the accurately.

Beautifully done and informative, I hope...Read full review »

Love the podcast but the commercials are loud but in my car I have to have volume all the way up to hear you. Like most podcast I listen to in the beginning the sound quality is horrible. Idk why that’s not area.
