Average to good
This is a good podcast, but not as good as it could be. I tend to skip forward straight to the end to hear the mormon tabernacle choir version of each hymn, as most of the other versions are quite random and not as inspiring. The historical description of the hymn at the beginning is ok, but the woman's voice is irritating at best, and her pronunciations of 'foreign' names/places etc. is laughable and possibly dubbed too. It is not as well produced as the 'Stories from general conference podcast', but hearing the mormon tabernacle choir is 'spine-tingling', so worth a listen!

I love learning about the hymns this way. They have even more meaning when you know where they came from. Thank you!

People who accuse the LDS church of being a cult really don't understand, or care to understand about our church. It is a great blessing to listen to these. I love learning about them and the traits that they teach to help us be more like the savior.
