An Ecellent Primer
Mister Meyer has provided many an enjoyable hour at work, listening to basic and intermediate history of Japan, its influence, and the influence the outside world has had on what was once a mysterious and now possibly ambiguous nation/empire. To my mind, he approaches history and fact as we know it amicably, non-condescendingly, and informatively. If you are interested in broadening your horizons or fulfilling courosity without needing anything other than an .mp3 format, this podcast is well worth your time without need for learning Japanese to garner information.

Loved your Shikoku interview with Paul Barach. I walked the pilgrimage in 2009. It was great to hear someone put pen to paper. Happy to hear other peoples stories about this great pilgrimage.
