“The “History of Persia” manages to cover a rather underrepresented period of history, giving a greater understanding beyond the lens of Greek and Roman histories. The host does an excellent job synthesizing the primary source material and modern work currently being done in the field to give a more comprehensive look at the nations and people’s that captured the imagination of storytellers like Herodotus and Xenophon or the conquering force of Alexander. I’m looking forward to hearing more!”
