I have enjoyed some fourteen episodes since then. Each is thoroughly researched, well-structured, and thoughtfully delivered. The series stands in the lineage of, and is stylistically similar to, such classics and the History of Rome and the History of Byzantium. I sincerely hope that Trevor continues to so generously give us his time and sees the narrative and the series through to its conclusion.”
