Addictive History
What value could hearing about the History of Photography be to a digital shooter? LOTS! Knowing what was done and why encourages the photographer to look at his own work with a little more objectivity. The distinction between documentary and conceptual photography is made that much clearer with an understanding of how the craft developed into the art as we now know it. I became so intrigued by the life steps of photography I became something of serial buff, that is, looked forward to the next episode. Well done, Jeff Curto, for making what would seem a dry subject into a fascinating story.

I love this podcast. The host’s quiet passion always comes through, whether he’s talking about a street photographer or the early advent of a camera (the Brownie) marketed to kids. I always learn something new! I’m hooked.

This is a great podcast. Jeff Curto makes these lengthy lectures extremely interesting and enjoyable with his obvious enthusiasm. A great learning tool that exploits the potential of poscasts to the full!
