History of the Bay: Lil Bean
Listen now
Description
In San Francisco's Geneva Towers housing projects, Lil Bean's father, Bner, was a neighborhood factor who exposed him to Bay Area rappers like Mac Dre and Messy Marv. When Bean was 11, his father died and he became the man of the house. After turning down opportunities to play college basketball, he turned to rapping as a way to provide for his family. Since then, Bean has racked up millions of views and streams, toured the country with 24kGoldn, appeared on Empire's Fo15 album produced by Zaytoven, and started his own clothing line, Beno World. Lil Bean has already made history as one of the hottest up-and-coming rappers from SF.
