History of the Bay Episode 72: As the son of Fillmore Slim, Frank Stickemz got exposed to street life early. At the same time, this is also what introduced him to the fashion, style, and music of hip-hop culture. When Fillmore went to the federal penitentiary, that led to Frank being in the system and eventually moving from the Bay Area to the East Coast. When he returned to the Bay, Frank started his own rap career alongside the likes of Keak Da Sneak and the Jacka, co-starring on the popular "Dope Game" series on Rah Records. After his own federal case derailed his momentum, Frank bounced back and ended up working with the likes of Bobby Brown and becoming a new member of Tony! Toni! Toné!
