Almost Perfect
Podcast is informative, is objective, and is intriguing. Most of the stories are novel to me. I was familiar with the Boston-Molasses ordeal, but I love learning more about that event. I knew nothing about the all-black pro basketball team. Sometimes, I think sports stories that revolve around race are cliché. Such was not the case with this story, as it was not embellished to satisfy political correctness. I like the demeanor of the host, but her actual voice leaves something to be desired. Oftentimes, it sounds like she’s yawning. Bottom line, the narrator is inconsistent. Bc I’m hopeful that she will refine her tone/pitch it, as well as her cadence. It’s her opportunity to develop and to improve her style. I wanna end on a high note, though - podcast production is sophisticated. The sound effects are great and the edits are impressive.
