Outstanding!
Hit Parade is fantastic. An extremely well researched and produced look behind the songs and trends that make music history, it is, at its core, simply one of the most entertaining, if not the most entertaining, podcasts around. Like the very best of behind the music without the tawdry bits. The only flaw is it’s not produced more often than once a month. Oh the anticipation! Well done Slate.

I listen to a lot of different podcasts but this is easily the best. Each episode is thoroughly researched and packed with music history that is so wildly interesting. This is among my top 5 favorite podcasts right now. The host dives deep into the music other music snobs wouldn’t think to bring so much attention to. For instance the tribute to Donna Summer. After that I was hooked. Every episode is engaging, entertaining, informative. Go and get it.
