Outstanding!
Hit Parade is fantastic. An extremely well researched and produced look behind the songs and trends that make music history, it is, at its core, simply one of the most entertaining, if not the most entertaining, podcasts around. Like the very best of behind the music without the tawdry bits. The only flaw is it’s not produced more often than once a month. Oh the anticipation! Well done Slate.

I wish this podcast already had 100 episodes to work my way through. Each installment is more fascinating than the last- with the one focused on Madonna fully rocking my face off. I love, love, love this podcast.

The Donna Summer episode is a joyful exploration of her career full of fascinating analysis and amazing slices of music. You feel lucky that someone took the time to put this treat together. Thanks Chris Molanphy. I’m richer for having had this listening experience.
