Last week, we put out a fun video about Taylor Swift and the Super Bowl. It went viral and for the most part people loved it. But some of the comments got us talking enough to feel like we needed to do a podcast on it. Over the past couple months, Taylor Swift has received criticism for supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce in his career. Some of the recent claims about her are misogynistic and awful. Would anyone say these things if an internationally famous male musician was supporting his female girlfriend? No. (In fact, he would probably be praised.)
This week we unpack with our friend Carlos Whitaker. He’s a self-proclaimed “hope dealer” who has found a way to bring people together, people of different political parties, races, religions, to have really hard conversations. Carlos Whittaker is an author, speaker, and storyteller who is bringing hope to humans all over the world. What I love is his saying: "I don’t stand with issues, I walk with people."
