Helicopter parent
Being an educator I was a helicopter educator with my children. Especially with one child because he struggled in middle school. But I finally got tired of caring more then he did. When he got to high school he was worried he wouldn’t get into college. So he started to care. He wasn’t a perfect student but he learned for himself what he had to do to be a good student with his strengths and weaknesses. And he graduated with appreciation for his teachers and professors who went out of their way to help him learn. But I had to get out of the way. Sorry for rambling. Love the podcast. Really liked the intro for helicopter parent podcast.

I love the podcast, everything about it. Your pastor/counselor should be considered as a regular (bi-weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly) guest. Pena’s intros are all so good, but my favorite is the Baroque Classical so far. Loved it! Thank y’all for making my work day bearable.
