Smart & Entertaining but....
TLDR: Great podcast in regards to legal matters for us laymen, but can be gender bias and Williams is never challenged by her cohost Detailed Review: I love and totally respect Ebony K Williams. So I was super excited to hear about this podcast. With the rise in violence against black people, I find the knowledge of litigation is now an essential tool here in America and I love how she breaks down legal matters for those of us without a background in law. However, I find her to be somewhat bias when it comes to gender. In the few episodes I listened to, when a woman and a man are having legal battles over money, she always took sides with the woman. Also, Dustin Ross doesn’t really say much and when he does talk, he ALWAYS agrees with her. He even slips up and say something that goes against her opinion then quickly spins it in accordance with her opinion. Honestly, I’m not sure what value he brings to the show. Overall, I find the podcast is definitely educational in legal matters, but I’m still contemplating if its worth the listen since her opinions aren’t challenged.
